About
My name is Oliver ("Ollie") Fitch
I'm a 4th-year (senior) at UVA pursuing a B.S. in Commerce in the McIntire School. Specifically, I am "concentrating" in Marketing & IT and am in the UVA Promotions class; we are currently working as a mini-agency, preparing our pitch for the NFL at the end of the spring as part of the National Student Advertising Competition (NSAC). I am the co-chair of the Video Production committee, responsible for the commercial spot, video manifesto, and all other videos featured in executions.
I’ve been drawn to the emotional power of creative work for as long as I can remember. As a kid, I rewatched (and saved) commercials that felt cinematic or moving. Today, I’m focused on the strategy and creative that shapes emotion and brand loyalty, the small decisions that make a brand feel human and memorable. How does a company develop its brand into something consumers perceive a real connection with? How can this seemingly illusory element be constructed strategically? I hope to master the solutions to these questions by forging brands that people genuinely care about.
Creative and strategy work for Catholic Hoos, Promotions, and classes.
